Our tribute to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II
I write this on the day of Her Majesty’s funeral. It is with the greatest of sadness that we say goodbye to our longest serving Monarch.
We have all been glued to the television watching the amazing pageantry and remembrance services throughout the land. I cannot believe the number of personal stories of those who have either met or seen the Queen. These personal moments have never really been revealed to the public and it tells us so much more about how truly special and unique a person she really was.
We all know about her deep faith, commitment to her duty and support of the nation and Commonwealth, but so few of us never really knew who she was. It is unbelievable to think that such a person could really exist and be so perfect in every way.
History will no doubt write many more books on Her Majesty’s life and the future generations will always know so much more than we did. There will never be a Queen like this again.
The Royal Family
The Royal Family have shown incredible strength, dignity and courage. They have been on display from the moment their mother and grandmother passed away. As a nation and no doubt worldwide, I am sure they have our deepest sympathy and condolences and hope they will have the appropriate time to mourn and grieve their deep loss.
King Charles III
Our new King has shown his Majesty from the beginning. His speeches to the nation at the various events were specific to the region and so sincere. Each one with a different emphasis but always humble and respectful of his mother. I believe he gives us hope for the future and for the Monarchy. On behalf of my family and the Bunbury Care Agency we bow our heads in respect of the Queen and raise out hats to our new King.
God Save The King
