Bunbury Care Agency requires experienced daily carers for clients in the area of Chester, Cheshire. Our daily carers are provided with a variety of clients that suit their expertise and hours to suit earning expectations. Bunbury Care Agency is a family-run, private domiciliary care agency that has been providing home care for over 50 years. We are registered with the CQC and Homecare Association.

Pay: £16/hour weekdays; £18/hour weekends + 45p per mile travel expenses
Location: Chester, Cheshire
Hours: Flexible (10 – 30+ weekly)
Daily care bookings are a minimum of 1 hour and can include multiple visits to each client per day, usually morning, lunchtime and evening. Allocated bookings are provided around your personal schedule ensuring your availability to attend to your clients. Each carer will have several regular clients that they will visit each week. Ideally, we would like applicants to commit at least one weekend a month to their clients, however we are more than flexible when personal circumstances prevent this. Our Carers work together using our detailed rota system to ensure the best possible and most efficient care and companionship is offered to our clients.

This gentleman suffered a bad stroke some years ago. The Carers are there to support wife so she can have a break. He needs full personal assistance and cannot wash, dress or undress himself. He also has Diabetes Type 2. He is very outgoing, good sense of humour and likes to talk about his work. Supports Everton and his wife always puts his care first.
This lady had a stroke some years ago which affects her left side. She also suffers from Arthritis and COPD. Carers visit twice a day to help her with her personal care and check she has had taken her medication. Likes to have her hair and nails done. Loves animals, gardening and baking.

We expect our carers to maintain the dignity, respect, lifestyle and confidentiality of the client at all times, with particular regard to assisting with:
- Dressing and undressing
- Bathing, washing, shaving and oral hygiene
- Toilet and continence requirements
- Medication requirements and other health-related issues
- Manual handling
- Hygiene and awareness of infection control
- Eating and mealtimes
- Handling personal possessions and documents
- Entering the home, room, bathroom or toilet
Carers are required to have up-to-date training and provide the relevant certificates.

All applicants are subject to a DBS check and should have a current DBS certificate or be on the update system.
