Having celebrated 50 years of caring for others!
2018 has been an extremely busy year. In January we opened our sister office, ‘Anglesey Home Care’. It has been a slow start but we are beginning to be known on the Island. If you have any links with Anglesey and know someone who may need our help please contact us.
The big event of the anniversary took place in the Orangery at Willington Hall last July. Nearly 70 people attended, from clients and family members to our daily and live in carers. Our guest of honor, Alexis Redmond, our High Sheriff, gave a wonderful speech going back to events of 1968 and the changes since that time. It was one of the loveliest experiences I have had with the Agency; a beautiful day, fantastic food and a very happy crowd. I think I can say with confidence that it felt like one big happy family.
We also launched our ‘Charity of the Month’ and have already sent donations of up to £100 to a number of these charities. I want to expand this campaign in 2019, so remember to login as every ‘like’ or ‘share’ adds another £1 to the charity of the month.

2019 and the future!
Well, we are now providing daily or live in carers for over 65 clients who live in the North West, North Wales and Anglesey. We are always in need of good carers throughout the region. Last month we talked about the professional benefits of being a Bunbury Carer, so now the financial rewards.

And finally…
As always I want to thank all my dedicated carers wherever they may be for all the very hard work they have achieved this year. There have been some very sad situations which they have coped with beyond expectation. Some people came to us in desperation as no other agency was able to provide the care they required. My ladies, and the occasional gentleman have performed wonders this year. Along with my staff in the offices, they have worked beyond the call of duty and I am very proud that they are part of the Bunbury Care Agency.
