Calling all carers!
As the lockdown continues to ease and life returns to the ‘New Normal’, we are getting many new enquiries for care in the home. As people gradually go back after the lockdown, they have realised that their loved ones now need more support if they are to stay living at home.
Some are asking for daily care and others now require full-time live-in care. Whilst we still have some capacity, we are keen to recruit new carers with the knowledge and experience to look after our clients.
Consider the benefits of being a self-employed carer
I completely understand that no one is keen to change their job at this moment in time if they have guaranteed employment, as a carer, but there are many additional benefits being a self-employed carer:
We can offer you 10 to 40 hours per week
1-hour calls with 15 minutes of travel time in between, with flexible daily rotas to suit your lifestyle and family
£12.50 p/h on weekdays & £16.50 p/h at weekends
Live-in care rotas also available for 7 – 14 days
£660 – £720 per week. Overnight from £100 – £140 per 24 hours
45 pence per mile travel allowance and many tax-deductible benefits
Supporting our Local Hospital
Many of you will have seen the appeals from Tarporley War Memorial Hospital for donations. They are really struggling to raise sufficient funds as a result of Covid-19. They are the only remaining independent charitable hospital in the UK, who have provided free healthcare to the community for over 100 years.
Please visit their website for information on their latest fundraising campaigns and help where you can: www.tarporleyhospital.co.uk.
