We are all aware of the acute shortage of care in the home and now it is even harder to find the right care home that has the capacity to suit your needs and requirements.
Due to our carers being self-employed, our costs are considerably less than most other agencies who employ their staff. Therefore, you will pay your carers direct and a small management fee to Bunbury Care Agency. The difference can be over £500 per week. We believe that we are amongst the most competitive agencies in the area for live-in care.
The way forward
Most people want to remain living in their own home, surrounded by everything that is familiar, with friends and family able to visit them. After your initial enquiry we will make arrangements for a member of our staff to introduce themselves and discuss your requirements. We also explain, in detail, our procedures and costs. It is a good idea to have a family member with you for reassurance.
Having assessed your needs and taking into consideration your wishes, we will prepare a detailed care plan for your consideration.
All our carers have to have the following up to date Mandatory Training and documentation:
- Moving & Handling
- Medication Administration
- Infection Control
- Food Hygiene
- First Aid
- Valid DBS
Our carers are all reference-checked and assessed in line with the Care Quality Commission’s regulations and our agency policies. Many of them have been with the agency for a long time and pride themselves on the ‘one to one care’ they can provide you at home. You will have a rota of a few carers who will come back to you on a regular basis. As you become more familiar a good relationship develops between you and your carers and you can trust them to respect your dignity and wishes, supporting you to live the way you wish in your own home.
