Rosy Rota’ Companion Housekeepers
At the Bunbury Agency we pride ourselves on the very personal service we offer our Employers. One of our very experienced personnel undertakes the responsibility of finding the most suitable Staff for Employers.
The ‘Rosy Rota’ Companion Housekeeper service is for those people who do not need any personal care, medical administration or assistance with mobility.
Our 'Rosy Rota' services are very special and we believe, quite unique.
Since 1968 we have been providing care and companionship for vulnerable adults. Our ‘Rosy Rota’ system is designed to offer the most considerate, convenient and flexible system of caring for the elderly or infirm, who wish, as we all do, to continue living in their own home for as long as is practically possible. It has proved most successful over the years, enabling people who would perhaps have had to go into a Care Home, to remain in their own homes, even when life has become a little more difficult.
We understand the importance of being able to continue living in familiar surroundings, choosing your own menus, sleeping in your own bed or just sitting in your own garden, let alone having some kind person on hand for trips out or just chit-chat.
Full details are taken of your requirements (preferably by telephone) of:
- Yourself and your family
- The position you are offering
- Your requirements from the Staff
- The accommodation available
- Your occupation, hobbies and interests
This enables us to create an accurate profile of your requirements so we can find the most suitable Staff.
Our aim is to provide:
- 2 or 3 suitable and very capable Companions that meet your requirements and that you feel relaxed and confident with
- Companions who will look after you with the greatest of care, respect and understanding
- Continuity with a variety of Companions that you look forward to seeing on a regular basis
- Peace of mind. As time goes by, you will find a trusting and friendly relationship will develop between you and your Companions
- Reassurance that you can continue your normal way of life in your own home
How the ‘Rosy Rota’ Works:
- Companion/Housekeepers are carefully selected according to your specific requirements
- Staff are booked 6 - 8 weeks in advance
- A personal diary of all the bookings is sent at the end of each month
- We continually liase with either you or your main contact, ensuring that everything is working smoothly
- We keep up to date with any changes in your situation or circumstances
Staff must provide us with a minimum of:
- Full details of their work experience or CV
- Copies of any relevant qualifications
- At least two written references from recent Employers
- Two forms of identification
They must also take out a CRB (Police Check), with our Registered Provider.
All references are meticulously checked and verified by us over the telephone with previous Employers. This allows us to ask further questions, which are appropriate to your vacancy and gain more in-depth knowledge of the candidate.
