how does the 'rosy rota' really work?
- The Agency will take full details of the care required, after which a commencement date can be agreed.
- The Carers are then carefully selected and fully briefed on your specific requirements. Details will only be divulged to Carers and members of the Agency as required. Personal files are kept safely and confidentially stored in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
- Carers are booked 6 – 8 weeks in advance. A personal diary of all the bookings is sent at the end of each month to you and your representative.
- Carers are booked 7 days at a time (although occasionally this may alter).
- Each Carer will handover to the next Carer thoroughly, ensuring up to date information has been properly communicated. There is no need for anyone to be there to supervise.
- We work tirelessly to ensure that everything runs as smoothly as possible.
- We will regularly consult with you and the Carers to review the level of care required and to monitor the quality of care received. We continually keep up to date with any changes in circumstances and reassess needs accordingly.
- After an initial period we like to make a personal visit to ensure you are happy with your ‘Rosy Rotas’.
our aim is to provide:
- 3 or 4 suitable and very capable Carers that make you feel happy, relaxed and confident
- carers who look after you, with the greatest of care, respect and understanding
- continuity with a rota of Carers that you look forward to seeing on a regular basis
- peace of mind. As time goes by a trusting and friendly relationship will develop between you and the Carer
- reassurance that you can continue your usual day to day routine in your own home
our carers
- our special team of Carers have a multitude of experience ranging from Companions and Housekeepers to high-level personal care.
- they are able to look after Employers suffering from a wide range of physical and mental disabilities and other debilitating or distressing illnesses and conditions.
- many of our Carers have specific knowledge in specialist fields such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Dementia, MS, Depression, Cancer, Osteoporosis, Challenging Behaviour etc.
- any of our Carers also have nursing experience, and are capable of a high level of care, although we are not a Nursing Agency.
- we are able to provide Male and Female Carers and Carers of different Nationalities.
