Our ‘Rosy Rota’ Residential Care Service

Our ‘Rosy Rota’ service is very special and we believe, quite unique.
We offer a most considerate, convenient and flexible system of caring for the elderly or infirm, who wish, as we all do, to continue living in their own home for as long as is practically possible.
- Full details are taken of the care you require and a commencement date is agreed.
- A Care Plan will then be prepared detailing your specific requirements and situation, your preferred daily and weekly routine, clear written instructions relating to any medication, and a list of important telephone numbers.
- A personalised care folder will then be sent to you containing your Service User Guide, your Care Plan, Medication Guidelines and Medication Administration Charts and a copy of the Carers Code of Conduct.
- Carers are provided with your specific Care Plan in advance of the engagement.
- A ‘Bookings Diary’ is then sent to you and your representative listing the names, dates and contact numbers of the Carers which have been engaged on your behalf.
- Your ‘Bookings Diary’ is updated every month and sent with your invoice.
- Carers are usually booked for 7 – 14 days at a time.
- You will have 3 – 4 Carers who then rotate on a regular basis.
- Each Carer will hand over to the next Carer thoroughly; ensuring up to date information has been properly communicated. There is no need for anyone to be there to supervise.
- We will regularly consult with you and the Carers to review the level of care required and to monitor the quality of care received.
- We continually keep up to date with any changes in circumstances and reassess needs accordingly.
- Wherever possible we like to make a personal visit to ensure you are happy with your care.
- Your details are only divulged to your Carers as required and your personal file is safely and confidentially stored in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
- We are here to ensure that everything runs as smoothly as possible and there is a dedicated telephone number for emergencies at weekends.
Our Daily Care Service

We are very involved locally, fighting for better daily care for the elderly, especially with those who suffer from dementia.
A Daily Carer is not just there to help you with any personal needs you may have, but also can be a companion. You may need help with your housekeeping, shopping or want someone to prepare freshly cooked food on a daily basis. If you have appointments or social engagements, your Carer will be happy to accompany you should you require their help.
We can provide you with your own private Daily Carer for a minimum of 1 hour, at the times and days that you require. The Carer works directly for you enabling you or your family to have control on the level of care your receive. Each Carer is recruited in the same way as our residential Carers.
- Full details are taken of the care you require and a commencement date is agreed.
- A Carer is then introduced to you and an interview arranged.
- If you are happy to proceed the Carer will be booked for you for the number of hours/days you require on a 2 weeks trial period.
- If the trial period is successful their engagement will be confirmed by us and an invoice will be issued.
- If you increase the number of hours/days, there will be a further pro rata charge.
Respite or Temporary Care Service

Respite and temporary Carers are booked for a specific period of time
As more and more people are living longer many of us find that we are looking after a relative or friend as well as looking after our own families. Relief for home carers and family members is very important not only so you have the time to manage your own life but also to take a much needed rest or holiday.
