companion housekeepers - residential
As we have just celebrated 40 years of caring for the elderly we have decided to launch our ‘Rosy Rota’ Companion and Housekeeper service.
There are many elderly and lonely people who are quite able to look after themselves but would benefit from a Companion and Housekeeper, but do not want the responsibility and cost of employing their own staff.
The beauty of this service is that it is less expensive than employing a residential Carer but should your situation change then a Carer can be provided with no disruption to your rota.
Our Rosy Rota Companion Housekeepers service operates in exacly the same way as the Rosy Rota Carers except is it for elderly people who do not require any personal care, just some help and companionship in the home.
All our Companion/Housekeepers are very experienced and their details are rigorously checked by the Agency. They must have a current CRB (Police Check) issued through the Agency’s Registered Provider, proper identification and at least two written references from previous Employers for whom they have worked for recently. Many of our Companion/Housekeepers are also registered as Carers with the Agency and have a multitude of experience.
Our dedicated team work tirelessly to plan a personal diary of residential Companion/Housekeepers who will look after you for up to a month at a time on a continuous rota basis.
Our aim is to provide:
- 2 or 3 suitable and very capable Companions that meet your requirements and that you feel relaxed and confident with
- Companions who will look after you with the greatest of care, respect and understanding
- Continuity with a variety of Companions that you look forward to seeing on a regular basis
- Peace of mind. As time goes by, you will find a trusting and friendly relationship will develop between you and your Companions
- Reassurance that you can continue your normal way of life in your own home
It gives us great pleasure to know that we are able to provide high quality Companion/Housekeepers that make it possible for the more independent elderly people to continue living in their own homes with the dignity and respect they deserve.
