Au Pairs
The Bunbury Care Agency is a member of the British Au Pair Agencies Association (BAPAA). We abide by their recommended code of conduct in the recruitment of Au Pairs. All our procedures meet the regulations and requirements of the Home Office.
We provide Au Pairs to families throughout the country. As a family business we know only too well the difficulties of finding the right type of childcare for our children. Life can be a continuous juggling act between work commitments and family priorities. We will assist you in balancing your work and family life with our Au Pair service, helping you recruit a European Au Pair.
The words Au Pair come from the French, meaning “at par”, or “equal to”. Your Au Pair is not a domestic servant or Housekeeper.
Our Au Pairs are recruited either through private advertising specifically on your behalf or through International Agencies who are registered with the International Au Pair Agency (IAPA) ensuring that we provide you with a suitable Au Pair that meets your needs and requirements. Our recruitment process is stringent, and all our Au Pairs are thoroughly vetted.
Please note Au Pairs are not qualified child carers but may have experience in looking after siblings or baby sitting for family friends.
If you would like an Au Pair to help you look after your children we will find that ‘Special Person’ who suits all your requirements.
As it is not possible for the Agency to interview the Au Pair in person, a thorough telephone interview is conducted with the Au Pair and their family by our partner agencies, prior to them being introduced to the Host Family, and all references will be verbally verified by them.
We will provide the Host Family with a summary of the Au Pair’s CV and assessment together with copies of all relevant documents.
We take great care to try and match the requirements and preferences of both the Host Family and the Au Pair and are always available to give advice and assistance to both parties during the period of the placement.
